El Salvador’s most elegant and graceful Boutique-Hotel can be found only 50 minutes from the capital city of San Salvador, amidst the colonial magic of Suchitoto. And its name is: Los Almendros de San Lorenzo.

The hotel’s name is derived from the place where it’s built, known since its ancient past as the “Valle de los Almendros” or Valley of the Almond trees, where the first houses in Suchitoto were built over 500 years ago

Located in the heart of the Historical Centre of this magical colonial town, in a house with over 200 years of history that is currently considered as a building of outstanding cultural value; it’s meticulous restoration during 2004-05 earned the hotel owners an Official Recognition from the Ministry of Culture for the work that had been done by preserving and enhancing the country’s National Heritage.

    Both Apartment-Suites share their own side of a building, strategically yet discreetly placed also amidst the Tropical gardens, and both count with a 106m2 floor plans, ample parlours meant for sitting and entertaining, a dining table for 4, two Indigo died canopies, specifically conceived and created for this luxury spaces, 12m2 bathrooms with sinks encrusted in antique doors, Jacuzzi-shower with their own independent shower and private solariums that flood with natural light this intimate space in both apartments. Upstairs, once again, both rooms count with a spacious bedroom presided by California King sized beds, dvd, wi-fi internet and a terrace overlooking the beautiful Suchitlan Lake and the color splashed gardens of the hotel.

    The Nido is independent from the hotel; with its own access through a quaint adjacent side street. It counts with its own living room, a spacious bedroom three steps below the parlour, and a bathroom graced with tall windows constantly graced with natural light. Enjoy your meals in a garden terrace with its own Jacuzzi-pool and a colorful garden overlooking the majestic uninterrupted view of the Suchitlan lake and the Northern Mountain Range of the country.

    4 are located in the oldest part of the original home, surrounding the central patio, while 3 more were erected in harmony with the old structure in the midst of our magical tropical gardens. All rooms count with a floor plan of between 20 and 40 m2 and count with either 2 individual beds each, or a California King bed for your resting pleasure.
