National Reserve Cerro Verde
It is the remnant of a volcano that existed a million years ago, whose craters have been covered by the lush vegetation of the current Cerro Verde National Park, Santa Ana and Sonsonate share. It has an area of 6930 square meters, an altitude 2030 meters above sea level and has lush vegetation. It is ideal for those who like forests and fresh air. Many animals such as Chicharras, Tucanes, Cotusas, deer and foxes; inhabit this reserve. There are about 127 species of birds including 17 hummingbirds, plus a variety of plants and a variety of flowers, among which highlights the Orchids.
